With its biggest gain in 5 months, Google has extended its lead in web search to 63% in the U.S market in August. On the other hand, Yahoo! and MSN share of the market has dropped by 0.9% and 0.6% respectively. There is no doubt that Google is now the undisputable leader in the online search industry. Its monopoly has even led to some rivals' complaints to competitor regulators in Europe and U.S. In just 10 years, the Google brand has emerged as top 10 most valuable global brand, according to report by Interbrand. Among other top gainers of the year include Apple, Amazon.com, Zara and Nintendo etc. Coca-cola remains the No.1 brand for 8 consecutive years.
